MAC Archie Girls

I never really splurge on a MAC Collection, just MAC products in general, the last collection I did splurge on was the shop shop shop, cook cook cook which was in March 2012? I'm probably wrong on the release month. When I seen the Archie Girls collection I was like wow I need those blushes, powders and lipsticks and that's what I went ahead of got. Tell you the truth I didn't know it was a comic until the collection came out. I'll go ahead and post the products I purchased and swatches. The packaging of the Archie Girls collection is incredibly adorable which also drawn me into buying the products that I did.

I couldn't choose between the PearlMatte Face Powders so I had to purchase both of them. Flatter Me and Veronicas Blush.

Flatter Me - Golden light peach with bright coral hearts. I actually apply a little of this over the Archie Girls Cream Soda blush which gives a warm peachy glow to my cheeks. You can totally use it as a highlighter but I love using it as a blush at the moment. I like to apply this with my Sigma F35 Tapered highlighter brush.

Veronicas Blush - Light baby pink with bright pink hearts. I have heard that the base is the Play It Proper Beauty Powder. I actually like applying this as a highlighter on my cheek bones and my brow bone. It's so pretty with the Archie Girls blush in Prom Princess or wearing it alone as a blush. I do get good pay off from this which I was surprised at because the reviews I did read about this mentioned you had to use quite a bit but for me I personally didn't have to.I like applying this with my Sigma F35 Tapered highlighter brush when using it for a highlight or my Sigma F40 Angled brush as a blush.

First of all how adorable is the packaging of this blush? At first I was going to pass on these because I thought Cream Soda would've been similar to Immortal Flower Blush out of the Tres Cheek collection which it isn't and I'm happy about that. Prom Princess I was nervous about because of pigmented the blush is and I dislike MAC Dollymix and I thought they were similar but they're not. Pleased I purchased both as I love how they appear on my pale complexion.

Cream Soda - I would say this blush is more of a peach than a coral on my complexion
either way I love it. I like to apply this with my Sigma F40 Angled brush.

Prom Princess - Deep, bold violet. I was quite surprised when I swatched this blush and applied it to my cheeks because the colour is nothing like it looks in the pan it's lighter and less bright in my opinion just very pigmented so you're best applying it with a light hand. I like to apply this with my Sigma F40 Angled brush.

I really couldn't pass on the lipsticks as I have a lipstick obsession. The only one I did pass on was Oh,Oh,Oh because I didn't like it.

Girl Next Door -  This lipstick to me is a sheer baby pink with how sheer it appeared I was going to pass but I thought I'll try it with a lip liner. I ended up trying it with Hip n Happy by MAC and both of them together gave a gorgeous combo so I had to purchase it along with the lip liner.

Betty Bright - To me this looks like a Pinky Coral, I love how it looks on my pale complexion I just couldn't pass on this, to me it reminds me Reel Sexy by MAC which I'm glad I passed on that one. For me I have to exfoliate my lips when wearing this because my lips are a little dry and it sinks into the dry areas. When wearing a lip liner it pairs great with In Anticipation by MAC.

Boyfriend Stealer - This one I could not decide one bit about purchasing only because I don't wear a dark lip as much now. To me this is sheer with a purple glossy shine. I actually don't like the look of this lipstick alone so I either pair it with MAC Vino or MAC Beet lip liner.

Daddy's Little Girl -
Bright, bold Fuchsia, far by my favourite one out of the 5 I purchased. For me to get how it exactly looks from the tube I pair it with MAC Magenta but it's just as good without the lip liner but it does have a slight pink tone hence why I pair it with the lip liner.

Ronnie Red - Love love this one. On my lips this appears as a pink toned red which I'm so pleased about because I've always wanted a red to appear that way. I would totally choose this over Ruby Woo and Russian Red any day.

Top 3 Bronzers!

Benefit Hoola Bronzer £23.50

 - This is far by my favourite bronzer to use as a contour. I have to be careful how to apply it because it's very pigmented. It does come with a brush but I use a Sigma 109 brush to apply this. The bronzer is matte no sparkle and does look natural when applied the right way. I've had this bronzer for about a year now and still haven't hit pan. Only thing I dislike about this is the box, I would've preferred it to be in a compact or something, but it doesn't stop the product working well on the skin.

NARS Laguna Bronzer - Retails at £25 pounds.

- I have been after this bronzer for a long time about a year and I finally caved in 3 months ago and purchased it! I find this bronzer works well with my NC15 complexion, whether it's for contour or just to add a little warmth to my skin. I apply this with either my Sigma 109 or my Real Techniques Blush Brush. I do have to be careful how I apply it otherwise it'll give me that dirt look to my face. I apply it lightly, it's easily to blend into the skin without it being streaky and it gives my skin a little glow. I don't use this bronzer as much as I thought I would but it is one of the three that I love and will last me a long time. (I did a heavy swatch oops)

MAC Bronzing Powder in he shade Golden £19 Pounds.

- I've had this bronzer a long time now, as you can see I've hit pan but I ended puchasing the other two above so this doesn't get a look at much nowadays. I do think this is a great bronzer but I wouldn't purchase it again as I favorite the other two above over it and for me there's no need for plenty of bronzers. When I did buy it I was worried about the shimmer thinking it would make me look like a glitter ball but it's not noticeable and it gave me a natural finish with a little glow. I find it best applied with a fluffy blush/powder brush.

Macadamia Hair Mask & Moroccan Oil!

Since August 2012 I have been going through the process of going blonde (My natural hair colour is a light mousey colour) and through the process my hair has been quite dry and unhealthy. I tried a load of products from high end to drugstore which some did actually help. The products I'm going to discuss underneath I won them from a Competition with Pauls Hair World Well I won a voucher of £50 pounds to spend in their company and I chose these two products underneath.
Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Mask 500ml

- I use this Mask once a week after I shampoo my hair and leave it in my hair for about 1 hour. I find the smelt great  but if your don't like strong scents this might not be up your street as it can be a little strong in my opinion. The feel of the product felt like I was just applying conditioner to my hair and a little goes a long way. I started from the ends of my hair and then worked my way up to the  roots. After washing the product out my hair I noticed how soft in the texture it made my hair and how shiny and healthy looking it made it appear after my hair has been dried.

I feel this will last me a long time as it is really a big tub with so much product. Without a doubt I will purchase this when I eventually run out, it retails at £32.99 Pounds

Moroccan Oil 150ml.

- I always purchased a little bottle of this which lasted me a good while as I didn't really want to spend money on a big bottle in case the product wasn't as good as I thought. When I won the vouchers with Paul's Hair World I chose this as my second product to use them on and I'm happy I did. It's become a staple in my hair care.

- This product smells incredible and a little goes a long way. I use one pump and rub my hands together and run it through my hair avoiding the roots. It doesn't weigh my hair down, makes my hair feel smooth and smells amazing afterwards. I use this about 2-3 times a week and it's helped in repairing my hair in a healthy condition with the Macadamia Hair Mask.

Again I feel this will last me a long time, without a doubt I will purchase this when I run out, it retails around £25.00 to £30.00 Pounds.

Now my hair is happily blonde and healthy!!!

Viva Glam Nicki 2

-  This lipstick is a Amplified Finish which is pastel lavender colour. This is a hard shade to pull of in my opinion, it didn't go well with my NC15 complexion but I love using as an ombre effect on my lips.

- This is how I love wearing the Nicki Viva glam 2, ombre it with Embrace Me and Magenta lipliner. I found that it lasted up to 3 hours on my lips and went well with my complexion compared to wearing it by itself.

Lipsick - £14 pounds
Lipliner - £11.50 each.
